Welcome to the St Gregory's family!
The Parents Teacher Association (PTA) at St Gregory's Primary School is not just a group, but a supportive community that you can be a part of. By joining us, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in your child's school life and connect with other parents who share your commitment to our school. The PTA serves as a valuable connection between parents and the school, helping to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
Your support for the school PTA is invaluable. It's not just about organising events and fundraisers, but about creating a vibrant school group where every child can thrive. Your involvement can help us provide the extra support that our school needs such as funding for school programs, school library contributions, children-focused events, educational and play equipment, fun learning experiences and other activities that might not be possible otherwise.
Previously we've funded phonics books; playground renovations for Early Years; a new school Garden, Book Week workshops and an Author's visit; shockproof iPad covers to prolong the life of existing equipment; subscriptions to online learning resources used by the whole school; a dedicated Chapel room and Bibles; a practical Performing Arts room; resources for after school clubs like Chess and Gardening Club and an online pre-loved shop.
We hold several events throughout the year including a Christmas Bonanza, a Summer Fete, a School Disco, Bake sales, and after-school sales. We also organise parents-only events like our very popular Musical Bingo night and Christmas wreath-making event.
Even if you only have a small amount of time, we all have something to offer. Help us set up an event, serve food or design a poster! Perhaps you have a professional skill you could help us out with? Or maybe you would like an official position on the PTA?
